CONDITION All merchandise we offer for sale is used and unless otherwise noted should be assumed to be in very good or better condition, which means there may be signs of age or light wear. We try to note manufacturing flaws or unusual signs of wear whenever possible. Please keep in mind that all items we sell are classified as vintage or antique, and there will always be an older "feel" to the item no matter how perfect, it just wouldn't be vintage or an antique if it had no character or story behind it's being! Our flawed or slightly damaged items will always indicate as such.

VALUE We always research all of our items and we base the prices on what we believe is the fair market value for that particular piece. We take the condition of the items into consideration when pricing these items. All pieces that are worse for wear or have some sort of flaw, or chip or crack, we will indicate as such in the item description, and then the items will have a reduced price. We believe that if you are absolutely loving the piece that you see, then you shouldn't hesitate and gladly pay or offer what you feel the item is worth to you personally. If you are very happy with your item than we believe that you made a good investment with your purchase. You know you can purchase our items from us with confidence, just read our testimonial feedbacks and you'll be reassured!

PURCHASING We prefer payments by way of paypal, but if you prefer to pay by check or money order, please keep in mind that US postal money orders are non-negotiable in Canada and therefore are not accepted as payment, and your item(s) will be placed on hold for 10 days pending receipt of payment, as soon as we receive your confirmation order and when you've indicated that the payment has been mailed. Payment should be received within that time, otherwise the item(s) will again be available for sale and your order will be considered void. In special cases and if payment is being mailed from overseas, this can be extended.

For check or money order, please make checks payable to Lenda Peters or Emmanuel Peters [not fancy4glass]. Please ask clerk or teller prior to mailing the money order whether it is negotiable in Canada, as US POSTAL money orders are no good in Canada and will not be accepted as payment. We will ship your order immediately upon receipt if you pay by money order, but checks may be held until they clear -- around approx. 10 business days, unless our bank states otherwise.

SHIPPING charges will be quoted to you via email once we receive your order inquiry specifying shipping destination & your preference on insurance. [Emails checked every 48 hours, if we have not got back to you within that time then it means that your email was never received by us or it may be in a spam folder, and you may have to resend the email order].

Orders are generally shipped via Canada Post and for larger parcels, arrangements may be made to use FedEx Ground. The shipping costs are dependent on size, and the packaging materials used to provide for safe transit. We mainly sell breakable items and need to ensure safe transit. Shipping rates are based on dimensions and weight using the Canada Post's website rates, which at times may be slightly off from actual shipping costs. Any customs, duties or other fees that may incur after package has been shipped is the sole responsibility of the buyer and fancy4glass will not be held responsible for any additional fees that may incur. Postage may be slow especially at Christmas time, or internationally, we apologize greatly for this, but unfortunately we can not be held responsible for customs or mailing systems once the parcel leaves our hands. This is why we recommend that all item be shipped with insurance, This will allow us to provide the buyer with a delivery confirmation tracking number, such as this example: CX 170 772 035 CA.

INSURANCE is available and can be selected by the buyer when requesting a quote when placing an order. We can only allow coverage for the maximum amount allowable by Canada Post, and only cover what Canada Post rules allow.

RETURNS we do NOT ship merchandise on 'approval' -- please be sure that you want an item before ordering and if you have any questions about it, be sure that those questions are resolved before ordering. We will gladly email additional pictures upon request. If upon receipt you have a problem with your purchase, please let us know via e-mail as soon as possible --- preferably within 3 days of its arrival.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged items/payments through the mail, however we will ensure that we will do all that we can to help the buyer in anyway that we can.

• Policy Changes as of Aug 18/2013 - We understand that there may be things that come up AFTER a payment has been made in which the buyer has changed their mind about their purchase due to a misunderstanding of some sort. Therefore we highly encourage all buyers to ask ALL questions prior to making a payment to prevent this. There will be a 15% restocking fee deducted from the total invoice [inclusive of shipping fees] for any refunds that we must process. This fee covers the activity evolved in the back-end process once a product has been sold and then must be re-listed again. This goes for all product regardless if it has been shipped or not, even if it's requested within 24 hours of original purchase being made.
